Problem in getting sound

My window media is showing de following error
Error ID = 0xC00D11BA, Condition ID = 0x00000000

    I have the same problem, but when I try to install the drivers for the sound I get an error message. I have a ibm thinkpad x40 laptop

    What should I do?

Check does you sound driver is install OK!!! If not
(right-click My Computer -> Manage -> Device Manager) for unknown/improperly installed devices.
Visit you SOUND manufacturer’s website, and download drivers along with the installation instructions!!! After that it will work just fine!!!!

Sound problem


reinstall your sound card driver using the driver cd that came with the system. download Media Codecs. if same hing happened. you an download VLC player to play you video file instead of using media player.
