Printer keeps printing blanks...

It keeps printing blank labels until it runs out. Not sure how to sort this problem. Only way to stop it so far is turn it off or when it runs out of paper. Blue light is flashing on the front when it is out of paper. I got a message on my computer saying only that the paper had run out. Anyone know how to fix this or have had this problem before?

Keeps printing blanks or just not printing at all. Sometimes it will decide to print the label out of the blue about 15 minutes later. VERY FRUSTRATING!!

We have found a reset that we use.
We unplug the printer and then we hold down the feed button and we keep holding down the feed button while we plug back in.
It goes through some sort of a reset and this sometimes works.

This happened to me when I fed a roll in that started with a partial label (the first label was torn in half). It got out of sync and was going through the motions of printing, but the labels were blank and it would stop at that halfway point. It backed the labels out and tore off the half. I put them back through, but nothing printed. I'm not sure, but I think once a label has been run through the printer, the thermal sensitivity is set and it can't be printed on again. In any case, the printer was going through all the correct motions of printing but no matter what I did, the labels were blank. I finally restarted the computer, put in a new roll and everything was fine. Maybe it was a bum roll. I'm not sure, but don't make the mistake of running the same three labels through the printer. If they've already been run through the printer, even if you weren't printing on them, they're no good and you won't be able to tell if your printer is printing or not. I'd recommend restarting the whole thing, computer, printer, and a new roll. It worked for me.

Make sure the labels are loaded correctly, the smaller lables must be lined up to the left and a snug fit on the spool and the blue light should stay on and print.

Printer keeps printing blank pages non stop going

drop kick unit across room:)))) sorry just kidding I had the same problem with mine. If the computer is continually printing that means the printer is receiving print orders from your computer. Best thing is just disconnect the printer from the computer and turn the computer off and wait 30 seconds then turn on . This should clear the print cache then reconnect the printer. Make sure to only request one print at at a time.
if the printer continues to print blank pages check to see if you have the latest software driver for the printer installed on your computer. You can do this by going to the manufactures website and download the software its easy to do just follow the prompts and install! Hope this helpful!!!

Not printing all labels

Do a calibration, this should fix the issue. Also make sure that the label stopper (silver peg on label holder) is pressed firmly against the labels. This will stop the labels from sliding around during a print, throwing off the calibration. Also check to make sure the sensors are free of any dust.

Label double print

It's possible that the printer did not get a good calibration on the size of the label. There's an optic sensor looking for the gaps in the labels. A test would be to turn the printer off and back on again. When it is ready, just press the feed key. If one label advances then the printer had a good read on the label size. The idea is to see if the printer works ok by itself first.

Now print a label - if you get two labels then you have to look at the software / printer driver as the cause. The printer will only do what it's told to do.

Hope that helps !

The Zebra 11oXill printer does not stop when the ribbon is out

Yes. You need to be sure the upper Media Guide plate is installed and that you have run the Media Sensor setup that is offered through the menu. Once the setup has been run correctly, the printer will be able to sense the ribbon is miising and stop the print job. If not setup, it will do as you have described.

Machine sends out blank labels when asked to print a label

I've had this problem several times and it seems that you need to push in the lock ring of the spool as far as you can tightly because if the end of each label is not seen by the sensors than it just keeps pushing the papaer out. Also make sure that there are no labels loose inside the machine that are covering the sensors.
