The hinges are not sticking out enough ( tabs have wore down ) to engage the hinges on the door . Push the hinges out with a screwdriver and measure the distance to a screw further up the door and cut two pieces of wood (one for each side ) .push the hinges back out and jam the wood in . It goes in easy and the wood falls out when you put the door to open

Replaced control panel and keypad 1 1/2 years ago seen the error codes now I was self cleaning oven everything went off no error codes or anything house breaker ok PLEASE help.

Self clean is hard on controls. I do not recommend self clean. Kills expensive parts. If the temp goes above 300 in the control panel, a control panel fuse will melt, killing the power to the control.

OVEN WILL NOT HEAT UP AFTER WE USED THE SELF CLEANING OPTION

Most ovens have a thermal fuse on the back. This is a safety device which kills the power to the bake/broil elements if the oven overheats. Self-clean has been known to trip these devices in which case it needs to be replaced. Not a user-serviceable part, but not difficult to replace either.

How do I use the steam clean self-cleaning oven?

The SteamClean option spot cleans the oven in 20 minutes and is recommended for cleaning light spills on the bottom of the oven cavity. When used routinely, the SteamClean option reduces the need for frequent self-clean cycle use. To use the SteamClean option, pour 12 ounces (1 1/2 cup) of water into the bottom of the oven cavity, close the oven door and push the SteamClean button. At the end of the cycle, consumers wipe out the bottom of the oven, easily removing oven soils. The steam cleaning option is eco-friendly and does not require frequent use of the self-clean cycle, which can create a strong odor. Read this in a post about the new whirlpool ranges

Self clean

I have a B1422 oven and it doesn't have a self cleaning option. It does, however, have a clean assist option.
If you have a box with what looks like a teardrop in it then your oven has the same system.

What you do is pour a mix of water and washing up liquid into the base of the oven moz-screenshot-1.jpgmoz-screenshot.jpgand switch the controller to the teardrop. The bottom element will then warm the liquid, and the resulting steam loosens the grime. You then use good old elbow grease to clean the oven.
