your initial problem was the fuse blowing. this is usually caused by bad solder connections on fly back transformer. resolder to solve blown fuse for convergence problem. now for no power check horizontal-output transistor for short. if unit tries to cycle off&on fly back is defective. if no start-up, check capacior in 6v-line center of deflection module in-between heat sink, the top will be raised up . 2200uf/25v replace mch
HELLO. YOU SAY IT TURN ON.? TELL ME DO YOU HEAR ANYTHING.? ANY SOUND.? IT SOUND LIKE YOU HAVE NO HIGH VOLTAGE.!!! MOST LIKLY THE FLY BACK TRANSFORMER.!!! THAT'S WHAT GIVE'S THE CTR GUN'S & THE MOTHER BOARD IT POWER.!!! NEED'S TO BE REPLACED."GOOD LUCK"
The fault you are describing is caused by a faulty fly back transformer. The fly back transformer provides the high voltage required to light up the picture tube/s on the set. Other than the fly back transformer there are a few components that supply the fly back with power that may have failed. Generally not overly expensive to fix
look on the back and see if its itc222 chassis if it is you can get the complete service manual and free tech support for your tv this set is famous for bad fly backs and if it is you can also order your fly back at that link also with free tech support http://servicemanuals.vstore.ca/
I would try soldering the flyback terminals on the PC board and alsore solder around the Horizontal and verticalyoke pins as well as the transformer and line coils. Rca has ad some problems with bad solder problems on the circuit boards. let me know if I can assist you further.
