Question about HP PSC 1210 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Was having problems with the printer working with the hp icons on the home page. fixed it by re-installing the printer, now the scanner is cashed...HELP
Ok well I would say it sounds like you have a driver issue - best chance is to uninstall the software that is on there now and then reinstall from downloaded drivers.
Go to the hp website at www.hp.com and on the left side you will see a grey menu that says software and driver downloads click on it and type your product. Then click on your OS and go to the most recent driver available - usually the one under software that is the largest file is the best one to use.
As for having 10.5 on the mac this printer is not compatible with 10.5 - you will only be able to print due to the leopard system having built in drivers. Call hp and see if they have any upgrade units available - usually refurbished but they come with a 1 yr warranty and are significantly cheaper than buying a new unit from the store.
