If you need assistance developing a business proposal, you can get help from experts at ProposalGurus.com. It is free to register and you can easily find and engage the most appropriate expert for your needs.
Listed below are some basics and tricks on how you can create a high quality business proposal.
Researc h- The first step to writing the precise business proposal is to research the prospect and the project so that you can verify whether the job is appropriate for you and your enterprise. Be certain you truly recognize your customer's requirements and expectations, and evaluate what capital needs and other resources you will require to complete it successfully and on time. Conduct research on the web, talk to personal contacts or even meet with decision-makers at the company so that you can tailor your thoughts to fulfill their needs. Having a personal relationship will often help you understand your investor's wishes better than a written email request.
Make it easy for them- Many business proposals are rejected because they seem either literally complex or sound like too much work. Make your idea as simple as possible for easy understanding.
Discover how much detail you need to include- Choosing a structure for the proposal is also essential, so don't be afraid to ask the prospect what their preference is. Do they need a one-page summary, a 20 page detailed description or a complete 200 page document with detailed analysis, drawings, evidence of experience/performance, costings? Is your potential investor too busy to struggle through pages of written content? If you are proficient with PowerPoint, you might offer to furnish a presentation with or without a voice over. Nonetheless, you must make certain that your presentation impresses. Depending on your budget and the nature of your offering, you could even look at options that include a short video! It is surprisingly affordable.
Structure your thoughts- Create an outline which in general includes:
Use visuals to quickly convey expertise- Visualize your thinking. With specially created diagrams and flowcharts, you may 'wow' your prospect and show that you have thought through their issues. However beware, don't overuse them, and make sure they are compelling.
Verify the whole proposal carefully- Check the proposal carefully before sending it. Any errors will impact your credibility and lower your chances of success. If you happen to have been immersed in the file yourself, you can easily miss a few simple mistakes, so don't be afraid to get a trusted person to double check your work.

Go to microsoft and first get a copy of any one of the Excel spreadsheets for doing a business plan. Download and use (you might want to check for one that fits your business aspirations). Use means complete it....put in the PLAN. Once done you move to step two, the letter. Most important is to address two issues in the following sequence.....how you are going to market your service or product and secondly funding....what is needed (really) until you start showing a profit (be conservative in your business plan!) As for the words....google the internet for "business plan letters"....you might be surprised what you find.
