Microsoft excel dose not open autometically

go to start then all programs then microsoft office look for excel click on it from there ok see if it works if not reinstall program and update it ok

If you don't have Office 2007, you will not be able to open the files with the 'x' extension (ex: docx, xlsx). You can either upgrade to Office 2007 or download Excel viewer to open the file.
Better still download the Compatibility Pack for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 2007
