Unfortunately the files cannot be recovered immediately, macs a are compatible with PC flash drives but not the other way around. you need to format the disk. go to start>my computer> then right click on the flash drive and then left click on format, then click ok. when it is done bring the flash drive back to the mac and put the files back on. now try putting the flash drive into the pc again

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

Plug the flash drive into the windows PC first and open "Computer". Find the drive and format it to Fat32 or NTFS. Now plug it into the mac and copy the pictures too it. Now your Windows computer should see the files. Mac will default to making the flash drive use HFS+ filesystem. Windows doesn't recognize this format at all. Mac will see fat32 and ntfs just fine though.

Boot up the mac with the system disk holding down the c key on your keyboard once it has booted up go to the menus and you will see a change the password item, use this to change the password. Once you have changed it quit out of the install disk and restart Hope this helps.

I can't eject a dvd from my mac pro desktop

Try these tips.....usually holding down the touchpad buttton while tapping the eject button during bootup works.

picexporterror Shut down the computer and start up whilst holding down the mouse button. This may take some time, but keep your finger on the mouse button right up until the disc comes out or the log-in screen has appeared.
picexporterror If you have Toast Titanium installed on your computer, choose EJECT DISC from the menubar.
picexporterror Sometimes you can successfully use the eject disc button in iTunes even if the disc is not visible to the Finder
picexporterror Open Disk Utility and choose the disc you wish to eject in the left-hand pane, then click on the Eject button.
picexporterror Some Macintoshes have a paperclip hole that you can insert a straightened paperclip into, manually triggering the eject mechanism.
picexporterror Open Terminal and type "drutil tray eject" to eject the disc/tray, and "drutil tray close" to close the tray.
picexporterror Restart the computer while holding down Command-Option-O-F, to enter the Open Firmware prompt. Type "eject cd" without the quotes, and press return. The disk ought to eject. To start into OS X, type "mac-boot" without the quotes. Press return, and the computer will continue with the startup. (This will not work on an Intel Mac. There is no Open Firmware on Intel Macs. )
picexporterror If your computer has an eject button on the keyboard, restart the computer holding down the Option key. When the startup disk selection screen appears, let go of the option key and press the keyboard's eject button.

Blinking file folder with question mark and a DVD is stuck in it

Hello, The blinking file folder with the question mark can happen when the computer doesn't "see" your System. It can be caused by a faulty hard drive, or by a damaged operating system. You can try to reboot the mac, hold the mouse button during 20 seconds to eject the CD, then insert you installation DVD (leopard). Reboot the Mac again, and hold the "C" key. Select english, the go to the tools menu, and Disk Utility. Go to the SOS tab, select your drive and click "repair". If something red appears, it means that it has found something wrong on your hard drive. Best regards

Decided against buying the San Disk Sansa Clip because it does not appear to be Mac compatible. I do not like Windows applications as they always fail or cause other problems.

Computer has become verly slow

I know this will sound very basic, so bear with me, but have you tried shutting down your Mac, leaving it completely off for 10 seconds or more, then restarting? My Mac (same model) bogs down now and then, and I find that shutting down (not just restarting) seems to clear things up right away.

1 Other User Has The Same Problem Posted by DEEDEE0809 on May 06, 2008I HAVE A SANSA SANDISK 1GB AND I HAVE FULLY CHARGED
IT AND I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW I RESET IT

You can do a hard reset by pressing and holding down the Select button (it's a silver square on mine) while pressing the volume + and - buttons simultaneously once.

Let me know if this helps. It didn't seem to fix my problem!
