Re: not going into high spin with any weight in it

I have had the same problem with my front loader. The rug is too heavy and the drum isn't balanced. Try adding more items to the wash and it will spin.

Have a Kenmore 20902 top loading washer. Does aggitate in wash cycle, but wont spin in rinse. With drum empty, it will spin. Removed cloths, rung dry by hand and returned to drum. Still would not spin, but...

Your drum is in a sense sitting on a barring , it sounds like your barring is going out. Works with no weight, and if helping as you said. Normally means barring is worn out and can not handle any weight.

After a wash cycle, the letters UE appeared in the timer window..

UE = Unbalance error.
try to use a low spin speed with loads like rugs, and try to get as even a load as possible. (ie: not just one rug) Don't wash rubber backed rugs, as the backing can break up and clog your machine.

Now, if you are successful washing with the lowest spin speed, you can hold the " Spin Speed " button in while pressing on the power button. Release power button. Now release the spin speed button. Now, press the spin speed button until the next higher spin speed from your last successful spin. Press start. Your washer should now pump out and attempt to reach the new spin speed, without adding any water. (usually about a 14 minute pump and spin cycle) Don't expect to be able to spin out rugs at a high spin speed.

Put too heavy a load in the wont work

I had this happen a lot at my laundromats... People got a little over zealous. . First, we need to get your rugs out of the machine. This will be a little wet... do you have any 5 gallon buckets? I would take one out at at time, and put them into the 5 gallon pail. This will be a wet job... but not much way around it.. Take them outside and wring them out and we'll get your machine going...maybe you can do one at a time afterward.. Once all the rugs are out, try to start your machine... maybe just close the lid and see if it will operate,,, but watch it when it starts and when it begins to spin... Make sure there is no water emptying on the floor If the water drains out of the machine during the spin cycle, then you may be ok. Try a small load after that. If you can't get any action at the machine at all, check the circuit breaker in the electrical panel or subpanel in your home... make sure if the breaker is tripped, to turn it firmly to the off position and then back on. If you get a machine that will operate, but won't empty properly, it's time to change the belts. I can help you with that if you need. Feel free to send me a note if you need further help, okay. Good luck on this.

Washing Machine Moves in Spin Cycle

There are 2 things you can do.
All washing machines have an off balance shut off, some are touchy, some let it run around the house. With wht machine empty, lean it towards you, on the 2 front feet, about 2 or 3 inches and let it drop. The self leveling feet in the rear must BOTH make good floor gontact and sometimes, just the weight of the machine will not adjust them. The other thing is, make sure the load is evenly distributed. Coats, blankets, small rugs etc. are very heavy when wet and they tend to throw all of the weight to one side.
There is no screw holding the yub in place. It hangs on the center post, where the agitator goes. There is however, what's called a snubber. It is a rubber device that looks like a flattened suction cup, that comes in contact with the tub. It helps keep the tub from jumping around too much.

Small rug washing in front end loader washer

its problably not able to balenbace the load of rugs, if the machine cant balance itwont go to high speed spin. in actuallity your probalby better off bringing the rugs to the laundry mats, especially if the are rubber backed, the rubber backing will come off clogging your pump assy, then your looking at replacing hte pump for a few hundred dollars, for a clean set of $30 bath rugs.

The spin normally does not work when the outlet filter is clogged; if the filter is clean you should then check your pipe coming out from under the tub (plug off the wall first before doing all these things). Last check your outlet pump, could be blocked with something. Refit carefully, you might need a nice pair of pliers to get the grip clip on and off the pipes.
The outlet pipe into the wall stands at a particular height, refit exactly to this height, about 3 feet from ground
