Can not get rid of "do no disturb"

Panasonic does not have a detailed user manual or download except the quick quide which does not solve any of the problems I have been viewing. I cannot get the link that Carl Navarro posted to work. Anyone else have the very thick manual as a pdf?

There are many features which can cause the phone not to ring when incoming calls are on the line. There is a do not disturb key and a mute button on the phone itself. Check to make sure they have not been set. There is an incoming call feature that sometimes needs to be programmed on the phone before it will ring for incoming calls. There is also an automatic answer function that can interfere with ringing too. Instead of listing all of the possibilities, I am including a "cheat sheet" with all of the features & programming for your phone below. You need to remove or unset the phone contact filtering. That is on the phone call settings.

This can be handled by the DND feature in your admin settings... Do not disturb will transfer your calls direct to voicemail without ringing the handset.

It sounds like you have enabled Do No Disturb accidently. This can be turned on and off by pressing the DND softkey button along the bottom of the LCD display. You might need to press the 'more' softkey to display all options.

ave you set it from inside the profiles for incoming calls. have you turned up the volume from the side of them phone when making or recieveing calls. set your pofile with all the loud tones and then it should work again.

what you can do is a master reset and master clear on the phone.

just set the amount of rings higher on the back of the phone and make sure all you old messages are deleted and also make sure its not set to do not disturb

To Change the ring count 1. Press the <Menu> button repeatedly until [FAX SETTINGS] is displayed.
2. Use the [ ] or [ ] to select [RX SETTINGS] then press <OK>.
3. Use the [ ] or [ ] to select [INCOMING RING] then press <OK>.
4. Use the [ ] or [ ] to select [ON] then press <OK>.
5. Use the [ ] or [ ] to select the desired number of rings. Press <OK> then press <Stop/Reset>.
