Question about Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) Console
My guess is you used a regular Q-tip to clean the laser lens and it left cotton hairs on the lens. I like to use the foam swabs. You can press the little swtich sticking up inside the UMD compartment. It is on the left and back about 1 inch. When you press it you should see your Laser light up and the spindle spin. This will tell you if the laser and spindlge work. You can physically move to Laser over to the right a few clicks and put the UMD back in it and look to see if the laser moves left and right. if it still does light up, spin the spindle and move left and right, then it probably will need its lens cleaned.
