I am testing a set-up that goes this way...back to back router(cisco1841) with a dial-up link(9.6K). Is this possible?
It is possible if the IOS on your router supports the necessary dialing features. You'll need to use WIC-1AM analog modem modules (or similar) in each router. A cheaper alternative would be to use standard desktop modems...the serial ports could be connected to the Aux interfaces on the routers.
