-   Me too. Vertical blue line, left of centre on my HP laptop pavilion zd8255ea. Started this morning. If its dead pixels, then i watched them take their last breath, as they were flickering initially for a couple of minutes. Now the line is solid, thin, blue and permanent. Out of warranty, as its only one year according to HP this morning, however, waiting for an email response. If you're out of warranty with HP it costs 60p per minute to phone for technical support!-   twobums
If it is narrow you have a dead pixel problem. If so contact HP for advice. Three year warranty on screens and they usually swap out for failures. Very common problem.

HP f1905 monitor problem. The monitor does not turn on after going into the sleep mode. I then have to either restart the computer or turn the monitor on and off button on several times before the monitor gets a picture again.
