Broken display for Sony DSC P-200

The display is broken and I am being asked $160 for repair. I need to buy the part and fix it myself. Where can I get the part?

THE lcd display of my camera DCS P 200 is broken . I need to by this.

Hi everyone, I know many posts on blogs when i was looking to replace my casio lcd and every site i looked at for the replacement lcd was so high priced, and there was no way i would pay how much they wanted so i was going to buy a new camera. Then i found this guy on ebay and he had tons of lcds for sale but none for my camera and all of them were priced good and low. So i sent him a message and he told me to go to his site www.Buy202.com and i checked it out and he offers tons of lcd cheap one i bought from him only cost me $27 and i installed it myself it was tricky at 1st but you just have to be gentle i guess. anyhow anyone looking for lcds this guy is pretty cool ive got 2 from hims o far. www.Buy202.com

I DROPPED MY SONY CYBER-SHOT DSC-S730 WITH THE LENS OUT AND NOW IT WONT GO IN..

Lens mechanism is broken due to dropped. You need to replace lens assembly. If you know how to apart camera and replace lens assembly then let me know to guide you. Or take camera to local repair shop for fix.

White Display on Screen

I fixed the camera myself as follows:

1. Hold camera firmly in left hand
2. Smartly rap front of camera with knuckles of right hand on the "Cyber-shot" logo.

It worked, now the LCD is working again for free.

Guess I don't need to pay Sony $111.00 for repair service.

Shutter button broke off

If the button has come out, then it may be that the parts which hold it in are broken, or other damage internally.
One suggestion is to buy a camera like it with another problem such as lens problems.
Trade the parts necessary.

Other option is to have it repaired. That may cost more than it is worth..
