Question about RCA OPAL M4001 MP3 Player
How do I format on my RCA Opal M4008 mp3 player?
Plug in your mp3 player, go to "my computer" then click on the opal icon thingy, after that there will be an icon that will say internal storage right click on that and click format. it should format!

You can try windows media player using the sync function.
However these mp3 players are synonymous for having problems with not deleting media.
If this windows media player doesn't work then post another message and i'll try to find the firmware. When flashing the firmware it will erase everything on the player and you will have to start from scratch.

There might be an issue with the firmware that is currently on the device. Sometimes these files get corrupted.
Download the firmware update from here:
Follow the instructions to install the firmware on your device. Be sure to back up any important media on your player in case the firmware reflash wipes it out.
