Question about Maytag Neptune FAV6800AW Top Load Washer
My washing maching gets to the last few minutes of the cycle and instead of going into the final spin cycle, it refills and does not empty. This will repeat over and over. I discovered the problem when we had a flood yeserday. I have to shut off the machine and put it into spin olnly to get rid of the water in the machine.
Apparently your machine is getting power to the water valves when it should be draining and then going into Spin. Also, since it keeps filling to the point where it overflows there must be a constant signal from the electronic board that bypasses the water level pressure switch. If you can, you should go into the Service Program and check the individual items. Most likely, you will end up needing a new board.
