Question about Sentry Fireproof Safe
I have had a Sentry combination model number SO500 safe for the past eleven years and within the past year, I have forgot the combination. My question is if there is a master combination or if there are any other suggestions to locate my combination?
They should be able to help. I would try calling first, to avoid paying the $12 to retrieve the combo, but with the serial number of the safe, they SHOULD be able to help you over the tele.

There should be a factory code that will work even if you have changed your personal code. You will need to contact Sentry Customer Services and they should be able to give you the code - You will need to fill in the details as listed at http://www.sentrysafe.com/customerCare/retrieveCombination.aspx and then send this in to Customer Services. If you are still have trouble (or there is too much of a delay) send it onto firstname.lastname@example.org - this is technically customer service for Europe but they might be able to help you anyway.

In order for Sentry Group to release a combination for any safe, we require a notarized request, stating that you are the owner of the safe (the last name of the notary public must be different than that of the safe owner). Please indicate how you'd like to receive your combination.Options include first class mail, e-mail or fax.Your letter must clearly indicate which method you are choosing to receive your combination, as well as the mailing address, e-mail address,or fax number to which it should be sent.Note that failure to indicate the method in which your combination should be returned to you will result in delays to the process.Please include the model number, serial number, and a $20 check or money order (please do not mail your credit card number), your address and telephone number.
