I would recommend you to buy Canon PowerShot SX210IS 14.1 MP Digital Camera with 14x Wide Angle Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 3.0-Inch LCD. Decidedly slim and sleekly refined, the PowerShot SX210 IS packs a feature set that reads like a wish list. The 14.1 Megapixel CCD joins a 14x 28mm Wide-Angle Zoom for imaging power to spare. Frame your shots in the bright 3.0-inch widescreen PureColor System LCD, with the Low Light mode for sharp images in dimly-lit situations. It also captures stunning HD movies with Dynamic mode for enhanced image stabilization when shooting movies using wide-angle settings. Capture smooth HD video (720p) with stereo sound for a truly natural, high-quality HD experience. The PowerShot SX210 IS not only goes wherever you do, but takes your photography and video to a whole new place, too. Trying to upload pics with my card reader and it says the pictures aren't supported, so they won't upload...any ideas why? Just uploaded from another camera

sir the memory card that you have in your camera do not allow pics to upload.Because the card that we put in the camera only allow picture to download from it.It will not allow pics to upload to it.If you want to upload pics to your camera try after putting a micro SD card. For that you should buy a micro SD adapter. After putting micro SD into that adapter you can put that into your camera. Then it will allow both uploading and downloading.

Memory card showing 'no image' after trying to upload

Sounds like you didn't use the "safely remove hardware" function when you disconnected the USB cable. This can corrupt the card and even the camera. You could try using a separate card reader to download the pics from the card. If that works, and the pics are safely downloaded, then you should format the card in the camera to erase and optimize it. If it doesn't work, take the card to a Walmart that has a Kodak Picture Kiosk and it should be able to read your card. You can print the pics or even make a cd of them. Then, format the card in the camera.

Probably a Microsoft update is the culprit. Use a card reader to download your pictures to a folder you create on your desktop.

How do you upload pics to computer from memory card?

Hello,

If you have USB cable for your camera, just connect it to the computer and you will receive a transfer window, just click ok then pictures will be uploaded to your computer.

you may also use card reader then insert your card, connect it to the computer then the same procedure as above.

Thanks

How do you upload pic to computer

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.
