Is there a paper jamed inside the printer?, try to check it, if yes then remove the paper inside.

press the cancel button to cancel the printed documents if there's any.

turn off the printer also restart the computer.

try to print once again.

Pls rate me if this would help.

Hi

can you see the paper jammed at the rear? if you can reach the paper, just take it out and after that, run a status monitor test to clean the effect of the jam.

hope this helps

gilheero is right, printers nowadays are very sensitive and once there are things blocking the path of the paper in the bay, this can cause trouble to your your printer. As a precaution, always check and clean your printer so that you can avoid troubles and delay.

    hope this helps...

Have you checked your paper that is fed on the bay...maybe there's a foreign material that is present inside because most of the printers nowadays are very sensitive especially on dust that triggers to false positive detection to your computer.

If it does, try clean the bay.ok?

Please help with cannon PIXMA MP150 printer problem, when trying to print, It reads that paper is jammed but I've checked several times and no paper is jammed. Printer will not print due to this...

Hello and Welcome to FixYa!

Paper jam means their may be small bit paper jam in side
, actually there are some "micro sensors" that detect a paper jam. There will be tiny piece of paper inside those sensors, thus tripping the sensor and paper jammed keeps coming up.
To solve this first of all Open printer cover and check to make sure no paper or foreign objects obstructing the printer feeder
, If you become sure that now really there is no paper, dust or foreign objects then Turn the printer off, and disconnect the AC power-cable. Open the printer cover & now give the printer a "blow-job" by compressed air.
If still problem exist then best & final option is to just contact to any Canon Printers service provider.

I hope this solution helps you

The paper jams when I try to print. It will not feed from either the lower or the upper paper feed. It is jamming in the back of the printer.

Paper jams

85% of paper jams are caused by worn rollers . The rubber treads in the rollers wears down, making them smooth, so they won't pick up the paper. Sometimes, they are aged, which also gives them a smoother rounded texture, causing jams. The quick fix is to liven up that roller with a mixture of alcohol and soap. Damp a rag with the solution and wipe the rollers clean with it. That's make them more pliable and the paper jams will cease.

Open the Rear Cover.

If you can see the jammed paper, slowly pull the paper out.

Clean the rollers in the rear section too.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it and give a testimonial for my response

My printer is saying there's a 'rear cover' paper jam and I'm not sure how to fix this! Thanks

Check at the back of the printer, there should be a rectangular flap with two clips on either side, you can take this off and free any jammed paper stuck inside.

Paper jam

This model has 5 places where you might encounter jammed paper. Since you said you cannot see it, I suspect that it may be one of the following:

1) Inside from the front - (This is a similar to accessing the print cartridges). Raise the scanning unit until it stops (cartridges move to the center). Open the two inner covers. Gently clear the jam. Try not to touch the printer components. Close both inner covers, lower the scanning unit. Press <OK>

2) Inside transport unit - Open the rear cover. Remove the jammed paper or any bits that you may find. Close the rear cover. Press <OK>

Paper jam

I had a paper jam issue on mine and it was due to the fact that I had the door open on the back of the unit.

Stranger things have happened i guess :)
