My sim card is PUKed need puk code

The "Best Solution" shown is wrong.  The PUK code can only be gotten from your provider, after you satisfy them that you are who you say you are.  If you respond inappropriately to the "Enter PUK" prompt 5 times, the card will self-destruct, so be very careful.  If that happens, not even your provider will be able to unblock it and the only solution will be to issue you with a new SIM.

you may need to obtain the code from your carrier. Please dont guess at the code. If the wrong PUK code is entered too many times your SIM card will be damaged and must be replaced. Call your carrier for the code and instructions on how to enter it on your phone. many samsungs require entering a star code **05* before they will accept the PUK code.

If your with o2, this link will generate your PUK code, and all you have to do is input your mobile number. Simple! If your with another provider, try their website and there may be a similar thing. It was a lifesaver for me! (N.B DO NOT GUESS YOUR PUK CODE! THREE STRIKES AND YOUR OUT!!!)

for the puk codes you will need to contact your sim network carrier and ask them for a puk code to unlock your mobile ,
these are the ones that can issue the puk code.
