Question about Kodak EASYSHARE 5100 All-In-One Printer
The printer keeps displaying to fix loose printhead or replace printhead but the printer is only 2 weeks old and has been working just fine. also the printer will not work with my hp computer ,the system is windows "xp" whats up guys???
For the problem with your printer not working with your HP computer there are a few things you can try. If you have a differnent USB cable try that, there are some faulty USB cables out there. I have had an HP computer that had problems with USB connections to multiple high power devices. To fix the problem I used a powered USB hub to isolate some of my USB devices. Try different combinations of whats connected to through the USB hub and whats connected directly to the PCs USB ports. Most likely if you run the printer through the USB hub it will work fine. Also USB ports on the front panel of PCs are normally not as reliable as the ones on the back of the PC.
I hope this helps!
