I know it sounds stupid but I had the same problem. Took the wheels off the bottom and it fit by 1/8 of an inch. Then just put them back on when you get it up.

This tv is to big to fit through the door so how do i remove it from the base?

you can unscrew the large back plastic section to make the tv a bit narrower...but be careful as this is the piece the mirror is mounted to on the other side...just make sure you have someone help you do it.

My big screen tv is about 3 inches to big to take down my stairs into my basement. Can it be dissasembled? Are there any sketches on how to dissasemble the speakers? Thanks Don

Yes but it would be easier to widen the stairs and just moving them can stop them from working so if you decide to take it apart just be careful, Manuals are available online but non are free

Need to know if TV can be separted into 2 pieces

Yes it can and does come apart in 2 fairly equal sized pieces. There are some screws on the sides when removed the top half with the mirror will lift off. It may require some extra force the first time it is done but comes apart with ease after that
