Started flashing on charger and then shut down now will not charge or come on

If your Harmony remote is not charging on the base, try pressing down on the remote, and wiggling it around. It's just that the pins are not making contact.

If pressing down helps, you can fasten it on with a elasitc band or something so that it keeps charging. Also, if it is still under warranty, I woul advise contacting Logitech's wonderful support team to get replaced.

Hope that helps!

Schumacher 80-20 battery 2a 10 speed charger. What does it mean when the light indicator that normally shows amps or p% of battery charged, is flashing zeros and eights?

All automatic battery chargers in the automotive market today have some sort of voltage regulation to prevent overcharging the battery. The rate of the flashing is dependent on the battery type, its rated capacity, the degree of discharge, its age, the temperature, as well as the amperage rating of the battery charger.

If the charger's green LED begins blinking when you connect the charger clips to the battery, the amperage in-rush current to the battery is reaching the pre-set shut-off voltage and the charger is shutting down. The voltage will drop as soon as the charger shuts down, turning the charger back on. This may also mean the charger has detected a battery problem - for instance, its ability to take or hold a charge. Sometimes a battery may be sulfated (accumulation of lead sulfate on the battery plates), and the sulfation is creating a high resistance to the current flow (ability to accept a charge). Or, perhaps the battery is deeply discharged (below 8-volts).

How touch pad that has been flashed over to android and at first it would not charge because I did not have the right charger now it will not charge at all and is taking me back to the flash cyanogen

Touchpads are really sensitive to the type of charger and cable that is required to charge them. I have had trouble charging mine in the past, but the best form of charger appears to be a touchstone.

It might me worthwhile getting a specific USB charger for the Touchpad that provides enough output. A normal phone charger does not have sufficient power.

Quote from another source:
If you have connected your HP Touchpad to the charger only to find that a charging symbol is perpetually displayed, you will probably need to reset the tablet.

This is done by holding the power and home buttons at the same time for around 15 seconds. During this time, the tablet should shut down, restart and then boot into the installed operating system - albeit with a very low charge.

Screen has began to flash on and off and wont charge

I had a similar situation with my pipo s1. After further investigation I found that the jack the charger cord plugs into went bad. My charge light wouldn't stay on unless you held the charger plug in a particular position. The jack is hardwired into one of the circuit boards and to replace the circuit board was half the cost of the whole tablet. I junked it and bought a kindle fire. Better quality and longer lasting battery.

Ifthe laptop battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be wornout. Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cyclesand will lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% andgradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up atall. ORThe battery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected thebattery drops off to zero capacity in a very short time. Ifthe battery drops to an unacceptable charge level then the battery needs to bereplaced.

After charging battery, when I press start, it attempts to start and then immediately shuts down. After recharging the battery a while, and attempting restart, the same thing happens again.

Hi

Have you tried to use your computer when power charger is connected to power supply? Then try it to check if your computer does not shut down. If do not shut down it self. You had problem with the battery or with charger not compatible with the battery. Normal problem of shutting down computer is that your battery have no charge, your battery is not compatible with your laptop or ever defective. Tr

Anomalous charging behaviour :- a) plug in discharged battery b) starts off with the yellow light flashing as usual c) after a very short time the lamp goes off completely - instead of staying on...

Okay, might not be reading this right but here goes. If the camera shows the batteries as full then I'd go with that. The charger will come on for a few seconds even with a freshly charged battery because it take that long for the charger to realize the battery is already full. You can't feed an already full battery, so the charger is shutting off completely. Yes normally the light would stay on and the charger would continue to trickle a charge into it it until it is removed. In your case I think you have those batteries stuffed to the gills so the charger is shutting right down. One of the problems with these batteries is as much as the manufacturers deny it they form a memory. Best thing to do with these rechargeable batteries is drain them right down and then replace with a freshly recharged battery.

Batteries don't charge. I have a new battery, and neither of the old or new batteries work in the charger. I get flashing lights only, sometimes red, sometimes green, but in the end, the battery isn't...

Dust getting in the charger is a problem, Try blowing it out with a moisture-free dust remover, found at most any store. Green flashing means improper power, due to dust or power from the outlet, try a differant wall outlet. Red flashing means the charger or battery is to hot and must cool down before it will charge. The charger will not charge a battery if the lights are flashing. Solid Red light means it is charging and solid green light means it is charged. Plug the charger in first before putting the battery on the charger. If the charger has been droped or hit the floor the coil inside could have broke loose and dammaged the charger requiring it to be replaced.

My HTC p3300 battery not gettin charged. It works on direct power for some time and get automatically shutdown after some time..indicating no charge. Keeps shutting down often.

I too have been experiencing problems. Replaced the battery but it happened again. The battery says it is at almost 100% capacity however several times in the day, when I go to turn it on it doesn't respond. I end up taking the battery out and then have to connect it to a charger (USB) so that the charging light blinks red once and then turns off. I can then put in the battery again and it will start up again. If I don't connect it to the charger cable to drain (get the red light to flash once), and try just putting back in the battery, I've noticed that the screen has a faint glow as though it was on but the screen is completely blank. I'm starting to think that there must be a short circuit somewhere because I'm going to assume that the new battery is good.
