No. I have tried a 250 Gb but my 2303 wont carry it. it will only recognize up to 130Gb but I did not try it with a 120Gb internally, my 250Gb IDE -HDD will run as an external but there is a power surge warning that comes up when I connect it, however I can run a 500 Gb SATA HDD with out this happening. I'm assuming you are running XP. Here are some things to try:
1. In your web browser (Internet explorer) click on the 'tools' menu
2. click on 'Internet Options'
3. Under browser history click on 'delete'
4. The first 2 options are to delete temporary files and delete cookies. Do those two things.
6. 'Start' 'All programs' 'accessories' 'system tools' 'defrag' and run the defrag program.
8. Virus scan all files on your computer.
I will be notified if you post any problems with the above. Your computer should run faster.

You might of fried the whole motherboard when it sparked. Check if there is a fuse. Bridge the gap, and it should turn on. If not PULL THE PLUG.its something else that went wrong. If you don't, it smells really bad. Ive learn't from experience...

Load Internet Explorer you will get page not displayed, click on tools, then internet options, click on security and there is four pictures click on each one then click on default level, do the same for each picture then click apply, then click advanced then restore defaults, apply it, then click ok,
close internet explorer then give it a try and hopefully it should work.
