Take the battery out, disassemble it, take every piece out, and clean them off with Deionized water, don't be afraid to get them wet again. Once you have cleaned them good, let them air dry for several days. Reassemble the phone and hope for the best! You will have about a 50/50 shot at not having any damage to the phone.
