Re: sansa trouble recognizing/ synching

What i would recommend you to do is to uninstall the device and reinstall it back...tou uninstall it...assuming that you are running windows on start, right click on my computer and go to should have your system properties open then click under hardware then device manager...look for the sansa usually located under portable device..if its not showing there i would recommend you to look for under disk drives1.gif and see if its there..right click on the device and click on uninstall...after you unintall it unplug your device from the computer and check to usb has to be under MTP mode or auto....after you check the mode open up your windows media player click on tools, options and click under privacy...clear the history and caches...after you finish you can plug the device on the back of the computer not the front then windows should recongnize it and it should work properly..if that doesnt solve the problems upgrade your windows media player to 11 even though you have done that already..let me know the outcome...

I bought an sansa about a month ago and i dont know how to put videos on it how do i go by doing that

your sansa m259 mp3 player does not support playing video songs(.wmv).You can listen to the following supported audio files only (.wma or .mp3) in your player. If you want to listen to video songs, try finding the software which converts video files to audio files, convert them and you can listen. Google it up to find numerous software.Hope you are clear now. Please rate my solution as helpful.

I uploaded pictures, songs and videos into 1GB micro SD card. But in Sansa e250 am able to see only songs in it. am unable to view pictures or vidoes stored in SD card. please help me.

The Sansa will only show photos and play videos from its internal memory, not the microSD card. You can put music on the card, but not photos or videos.

Sansa synch problem

Change the Rip settings in Windows Media Player to convert the CD to mp3 format and then re-synch it - it will work. WMP probably synched it as a raw CDA, which the Sansa cannot recognize.

Synchronize to continue your music subscribtion???????

You have to synchronize your Sansa to a computer that has a current subscription to Rhapsody, and you have to sync the Sansa to that same computer at least once every 30 days, or the Rhapsody songs will stop working. Use a different music service that is free, or convert all of the songs to Mp3 format to get around the problem. If you get a subscription to another music svc, then you must maintain a current subscription with whatever new svc you choose as well.

connect to your pc using usb connection. sansa should be recognized as storage media drive. navigate to the drive. Drag and drop files to music/video folder. Enable show hidden files and folders in your windows folder settings. Tools>Folder Options>View. Some of the folders are hidden. You can delete the preloaded music also. Some of them are in the radio folder.

Device keeps shutting off by itself and won't synch

Make sure the songs are in the right format. Napster is a real bear about disappearing songs - try another music svc.
