Does not want to print

Can you please tell me how to contect my printer so i can print from my computer and also i do not have a disk for it and, can i use it with my windows 2000

You need a USB printer cable.. available at any electronics store or even walmart. Here is a link so that you can download the drivers from the internet: please fallow the intruction on the site. The software will tell you when to plug in the USB cable to the computer.

Please do the following settings on your system. Open Internet Explorer and click on tools and then select Internet Properties. Then click on advanced and then reset all to default settings. Also select the tab which says contect there and click on the clear ssl state option. After this take the print outs and you will definitely be able to take prints from Internet

Printer won't work

This should help ya out hopefully. Go through your computer and 'uninstall' anything that is installed for your printer. Unplug your printer from your computer. Restart the computer and put in your printer driver disk. Go through the installation, keeping in mind that your printer is still unplugged! The installation will tell you when to plug it back into the computer. Make sure the printer is powered on. And print a test page! You should be good to go!

How do I clear data from my RAM disk on Dell 3100cn printer

The RAM for the printer is temporary.
turn off the printer and unplug the printer from the outlet. wait for 20 sec. plug the printer in and turn it on.
you can select in the printer properties page of the printer to print immediately instead of spool and print from the last page first. that will eliminated the ob store in the RAM.

try checking the pump assembly of the unit. if it is clogged, the printhead wont clean and theres a possiblility that you will not get a printout. also check the head cable to see if there are no cut traces.

I've downloaded the disk to my hard drive but I can't get it to print. Is there more than a telephone contection between the printer & the computer? My old one had a large cable with many contection...

Have you installed the driver?
Have you set the IP address in the printer?
Are you using a hub or a direct connection from PC to Printer?
Do the 2 lights on the Printer Connection Port light (green and yellow)?
What printer is it?
What operating system do you have?

Network contection

Is the printer shared on the other computer or is it a network printer?

If it's shared and it is working on the other computer, simply go into printers and faxes, right click on the printer and select Use Printer Online.

If it's a network printer, your laptop may not know the correct IP address of the printer. In this case I'm going to need to know the exact model of your printer.

I don't think it is a printer problem as such more a communication problem. Un install the printer software. Close down the Computer. Unplug the printer. Start the computer. Come off line. Disable the A/V software. Run the installation disk only plug in printer when prompted Tell us what happens
