While playing a recording, press the erase button twice. That will bering the number of recording down by one. Do the same until you get zeros on the display.

This voice recorder have auto power off function so does not have particular power on-off button, press play/ record to turn on and leave it for some time to turn off automatically.

What you need is a USB A to USB mini A cable. You can purchase one at Sony's website for $11.95 Click Here or look around in any Staples, Office Depot, or cell phone store like Verizon who also have them. I hope this helps and good luck!
