Hi. Our problem is that the printer simply won't print. We've gone through Canon's troubleshooting sequence and exausted all the solutions they've offered and we seem to have lost the printer manual. The middle light is flashing intermittantly orange and then green, but the error message isn't giving us anything specific other than that it can't print and we should cancel the print job. Very frustrating indeed. I hope you can help us. Thanks & regards, Helena

Hello. My Canon i950 was showing 8 yellow flashes indicating the ink waste tank is getting full. I removed the ink pads in the bottom of the unit. I cleaned them and let them dry before replacing them. I followed the code directions and the yellow light does not blink now, just solid green, but it won't print either. Only error message is, problem with printer. Help Please!

Printer: Canon i950. Two problems: The "utility" icon on the computer is grayed out and non-functioning. The larger problem is that when I try to print a black document, it comes out a faded, washed out almost pea-green color. I printed a test page - what should be black is pea-green. As I said, the "utility" icon is grayed out and I can't access that. Any suggestions, hints, solutions, etc.? Thanks! mg

Reds are not printing on my canon i950 ink jet printer. (Mac OS X) I have used the utility to perform several cleanings and at least 2 deep cleanings. I used a Q tip with rubbing alcohol to wipe the port where the ink is fed to the nozzle, still no reds. What can I do.
I have the same problem as Helena...Intermitant light flashes. 4/5 quick orange flashes followed by a longer Green flash. The exact same symptons; cant print anything, though the computer recognizes the printer is plugged in. Any help?
