LG Chocolate and software

I was not aware that I had to buy software to play music on my phone. I have everything I need but the software. Verizon didn't tell me I needed so I brought the cable and memory card separate thinging I would just download it on the card and play if. Well I called them and someone finally told me that if will not read music without the software and I can only get it with a bundle of crap I already have. Where can I get the software for less $$$ or FREE?

I put music on my phone but when I try to play it the sounds don't work, what is wrong?

hi echo 92 put the battery first. next you need to check your contacts are clean. Also what way are ou trying to play the music. You should actually use media card that goes in the memory slot on the side. You can go into your media center and then make sure the volume is working, Play the music in the music and ringtone sction. If that doesn't work for you. Take it to the nearest verizon corp store they can tell you if the speakers are blowm. You also can make sure that the speakers are cleam by using a toothbrush. they may just be debri inside your speakers.

I have just purchased a usb microphone and cannot get any recognition of the product on my laptop.i have installed as per instructions and everything is there to view but cannot get it to play on...

It most likely has nothing to do with your mic or sound card. Check your professional music software's settings/options. Does it recognize your sound card? I am aware of a lot of music software which find it hard to recognize a mic from a usb connection.

Lg envy music download says no available space

Go to Menu, then under the "Settings & Tools" section, choose option 8 (Memory). Choose option 2 (Phone Memory), then option 1 (Phone Memory Usage). This will tell you the available MB on your phone.

Or, go to Memory, choose option 3 (Card Memory), then Card Memory Usage.

If you have 0MB left on both, then you will need to delete some ringtones, wallpaper, music, etc. to clear up some space.

If you still have room, you will have to take the phone to a Verizon store. More than likely if this is the case, the phone has a glitch in the downloading. You may of downloaded a virus while downloading music/ringtones/wallpaper.

Playing music on samsung gleam cell phone

The V-cast software should come preinstalled on a Verizon phone. You will need a micro SD card (around $10-$20 with adapter), go with something like the Lexar the fewer extra parts the better. next you will need a stereo headset Radio Shack or Wal-mart are you best bet, avoid buying items directly from the Verizon or any other cellular phone store, the mark up on items is outrageous. You can either go with a wired headset ($10- $30)or if yo uhave the cash and like to show off you can get a stereo blue-tooth headset starting at around $75. Once you have a card format it with you phone, next plug the card into you PC and transfer songs into the "My Music" folder. Put the card back into you phone, let it update the menu, and your ready to rock out.

Ive put some music on an sd card put it into my lgks 360 but the phone wont recognise theres anything on it

You have to use the software and buy the connection cable from your wireless provider. For example, Verizon Wireless makes you buy their connection cable and use their (free) software in order to put music on their phone. If you just drag and drop music files on your SD card and insert it into the phone it won't recognize it.

You must Have All Files In the my_music directory with NO sub directories. And as said before YOU HAVE 32 Characters. Most of your Mp3s will have a tag on it that will tell you (the phone) all the info you will ever need to know about a song. Some day lyrics.

Blue Tooth Stereo Headphones and KRZR

From what I can tell and after researching the same issue it is the KRZR. I called both Verizon tech support and my bluetooth tech support.
There is no solution
If you notice some of the functions in the Blue tooth Pairing/connection menu functions don't even work. (The on off for instance and the settings) After it is paired. I tried my bluetooth with other phones and it works fine.
I am going to the Verizon store to complain untill i get a different model.

In short the KRZR software is defective

Problems with LG enV VX9900 music uploading

I found the solution.

First let me say that calling Verizon tech support is a frustrating process to say the least. I have spent hours on the phone with three different reps, all with different levels of knowledge on the subject. But I'm beginning to digress - Bottom line, calling Verizon tech support is hit-or-miss.

After multiple attempts of installing and uninstalling the rhapsody software, the vcast software and the phone drivers onto my laptop with and without the phone plugged in, I was still not getting my phone to connect. So after I was just about through with Verizon reps, I called Rhapsody tech support, and they insisted it was a phone issue. Having no where else to turn, I drove to the verizon store to DOWNGRADE the phone to something simpler, when their highly trained personnel actually diagnosed the problem.

Turns out the nothing was wrong with my laptop, or wire, or USB, but rather the only way to get the phone to connect was to bring it to the store and have VERIZON update the software on it. You cannot do this over the airways using 228. They must do it there. Actually, there have been four updates to this phone's software since I bought it only 4 months ago (I had version "4" and they are up to version "8"). After the software update, the phone connected and now I am able to drag and drop to the phone shown in the same pane as "my library."

Save some time - bring it to the store.
