You would actually need a motorola modding program (i can't list the name for you), it will allow you into the sub sub directories and hidden drives.

we do offer the service if you would like - it is $25 + shipping, and for extra $15 we can "ultimate" your razr - make ringtones louder, put customized DRMs, and some cool stuff - for a complete list email vasco - sales@http://horizonwirelessonline.com

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

If you delete files on a MAC they are still there. Go to Options or Utilities folder (depending on which OS is running). Use the clean utility to clear the dead files.

You need to free some space for more storage. Delete some items eg music, pics, videos, ringtones etc that are unnecessarily used. The store space is running low

My sansa clip has maxed out space and won't turn on

Hello,

Sandisk has an Answers support site for the Sandisk players.
Searching for answers on the item space, links to next page:
http://kb.sandisk.com/app/answers/list/kw/space/r_id/101834/search

The first answer on not enough space for musicDB will give 2 options for deleting files, see next page:
http://kb.sandisk.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/848

Option 1 for normally erasing files.
Deleting selected files:
http://kb.sandisk.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/41

Method 1: deleting files on the player itself .

Method 2: deleting files when connected to a computer
when using method 2, switching USB mode from MTP to MSC or vice versa may be needed to see the files in the folders.
Information about the problem "hidden files", see:
http://kb.sandisk.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/447
How to change the USB mode of the player, see:
http://kb.sandisk.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/207

Option 2, erasing all files on purpose or when memory is corrupted .
Formatting the device, deleting all files:
http://kb.sandisk.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/107

This help page shows how to perform a format of the player using
disk management. The player has to be in MSC mode when performing
this action.
How to switch to MSC mode is mentioned before, see link:
http://kb.sandisk.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/207

I can't download a ringtone. I says I don't have enough file space.

ringtones are stored to the phones internal memory not the memory card. check to make sure that your phone is set to save music, pictures, and video to the memory card, not the internal memory. then move any of those file types that are in the internal memory to the card. if you still don't have enough file space you will have to delete something to make room

If you want to check hard drive space, open my computer and select the details view. OR right click on the drive icon and pick 'properties'

Freeing up space can be tricky. Use the disk cleanup utility first.
Start/Run/Accessories/System Tools/Disk Cleanup. The only caution is "don't compress files!!!"

Then it's a matter of deleting old documents [I back mine up to CD before deleting.] pictures, videos, etc. You can also add space by adding a hard drive and moving big files, like videos, to it.

C261 memory problems

the sounds on your phone may use much places than your pictures. to see the free space available when you've delete, go to the main menu, select multimedia, open pictures or sounds, press the main menu and at the bottom, open "view free space" you can see how much free space you've got while you delete the unuse pictures or sounds. also you can add more free space to your phone by purchasing: if you've got webaccess, use it and go to google or yahoo tape "incruse free space on motorola C261" and browse you'll get access to the merchants for your needed. hope this will help you, Bye.
