I can see you do have two issues here.Let us first fix the DVi port.Please see follow the steps below.

1. Please check video configuration by looking it up on the PC control panel.
2. Please make sure you choose the both DVi and VGA port by simply placing "tick" on the box.

On your second issue.Please follow the steps below

1. The "blue screen" normally comes up if you a faulty VGA cable or the connection is somehow loose.Please check if it is properly plug-in.

2. If the problem continues,I would suggest please contact the manufacturer or the store where the
item was purchase

When I had this problem it turned out to be my video card (unless my p/s is on its way out and just won't power the video card anymore). Removed the video card and switched to onboard VGA and it boots fine. Had no Win7 Aero though so I went into bios and set it to onboard VGA and UMA 256 instead of Auto and my Aero is back as well.

Please confirm if your CD Drive unable to read any perticular format of files....
Also, you are CD Drive or DVD Drive... please provide the model number aso.

When you turn it on, does it respond? Do any lights lit up? Do you have a known good ac adapter to try it with? Or is the ac adapter you are using lits up and/or powering on a different computer?Try to test both to check the functionality of the ac adapter and the port. If ac adapter will work with a different pc, then possibly the port is damaged. You may need to replace the motherboard. If still it wont turn on, then you may just need to replace the ac adapter.

Your problem isnt in your PC, it's because you chose the onboard sound to listen to music etc, which is normal. Unfortunately, you need to choose the HDMI Audio output if you want sound on your TV FROM the HDMI cable. Right click the sound icon located to the lower right side of your screen and choose (adjust audio properties). Now go to the audio tab and click the output device window and choose your HDMI audio output, whatever it may be called. Just pick the one that wasn't selected when you opened it and click ok or apply. Now all audio output is controlled by your Video card lol. Crazy aint it?

BIOS is brought up by hitting F2 or in some cases the delete key. F12 is normally for bringing up the boot menu, whether you want to boot from the dvd or the hard drive. Try F2 or the delete key

1. Check video card
2. Check monitor

Check these two things to find the fault its probably something really dumb it happens to the best of us even me sometimes, I had a monitor burn a power cord once and do not know why until i found a un grounded outlet so check that also make sure you plugged into a surge surpressor and or backup device......
