I CAN'T FIND OUT HOW TO GET THE MENU TO POP UP ON TV. I TRY PRESSING BOTH THE VOLUME BUTTONS AT THE SAME TIME AND THE CHANEL BUTTONS BUT NOTHING IS WORKING. I HAVE ALSO TRIED PURCHASING UNIVERSAL REMOTES HOWEVER THE CODES DON'T SEEM TO WORK ON THIS TV. I BROUGHT A COMCAST UNIVERSAL REMOTE AND IT WORK ON A SIMILAR TV WHEN I LEFT STORE HOWEVER WHEN I GOT HOME MINE DID NOT WORK. I WANT TO CHANGE MY TV FROM REGULAR TV TO CABLE CHANELS. PLEASE HELP?
I have an Orion Model TV2521. How do I turn on "closed caption" without the original remote? It broke and the tv is now using a universal remote. I tried the onscreen menu on the TV,but did not see an option to perform this task.

Lost the remote?... try a different universal remote. i have a orion 27" but i think it has a menu button on the front of the set. im at work.. when i get home ill check and repost....if you dont want to buy another universal.. barrow a friends and give it a try... sometimes the manufacture puts updated CODE's for the remote on the website.. might check that as well. good luck.. more to come.

If you still have the Sanyo remote, you just need to press the INPUT button on the remote. The channel search and some other functions are disabled when the TV is in video/AV/game mode.
If you don't have the Sanyo remote, but you have a Universal remote which you use with the TV, look for a button labelled INPUT or SOURCE on this remote and try pressing it.
If you don't have any remote for this TV or you are using a universal remote which does not have an INPUT or SOURCE button, please reply to me from within this page for further assistance and let me know the brand and model number of any universal remote you are using. There is no option in the menu for doing this, but there a couple of methods which work on some TVs
I would suggest you try to find a universal remote that has an "input" or "source" button and program that one to your tv. By pressing the "source" or "input" button, it will change the input to the tv.
I hope this helps!
if you have a menu button on tv shoul be able to do it there after you push the menu button then use the up or down button for selection then the volume up or down to ajust then menu to exit. Now if no menu button sometimes you can push the up down chanel button at the same time and get into the menu. Hope one of these works.
using your remote, press menu. Then go to v-chip set. Then press enter. When prompted for the password, press the volume dwn button on the tv set and at the same time press the zero on the remote and hold them for a couple of seconds. You will the be asked for the "New Password". Put in a new password. Once the password is reset. Go back into the v-chip set menue and turn all the ratings "off".
