Remove any screws you see on the top rear panel. Take off the filter to reveal another screw. The control panel across the back look between the lid and that panel, there is another screw there. On the very back there is a black strip that helps hold the top panel on. Then the top panel will come off.

How do I remove roller brush from Shark cordless handheld vacuum?

You have to remove All the screws, and you are correct they are almost impossible, after that most of the part's also snap together, so you almost have to break it to take apart, a vacuum repair shop knows all the tricks to opening these up....

I have an old AP 200 Electrolux Canister Vacuum cleaner. Can,t figure out how to take it apart to check the main switch & motor. What is the trick to getting it apart?

The whole thing comes apart like a puzzle. The side rubber pieces on each side slide outward to front of machine. After they are removed everything comes apart. Make diagrams so you will not forget how to put back together. If you need any more help, let me know. GOOD LUCK FRIEND.

I had to take apart my shark navigator vaccuum cleaner and clean it. I need a diagram to see where to put everything back, mainly the magnets.

The two long magnets (maybe about 2" and tapered across one long side) go in the housing in front of the brush. One fits on the right, the other on the left. The tapered ends point up. When you put the top cover back on, it will enclose the magnets completely. Took me 45 minutes to figure that out after realizing one magnet was still in place. Sheesh. Lol

Vacuum smells and is not picking up well. Took the pole apart and I don't know hao to open the bottom.

To get into to the bottom of the vacuum, flip it to where you can see the bottom of the baseplate. Only unscrew the recessed screws...4 to 5 screws. Once you have removed those, the basepalte will pop off. It is probably just clogged at the bottom.

Need photos or schematic for connecting water lines on bissell 9200t.

Hi, I found a website, searspartsdirect.com, which had a pdf repair document: http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/partsdirect/showSubComp.pd?imageUrl=http%3a%2f%2fc.searspartsdirect.com%2flis_png%2fPLDM%2fP0907041-00001.png

The document should pop right open when you go to this page.
However, I could not find any diagrams for the internal tubing. Do you remember where they went when you took the cleaner apart?

Hope this helps. If it does, I's appreciate a vote. Thanks,

Dyson dc04 motor runs but has no suction.

I would make sure it is the motor first by isolating the sounds to just the motor. Take off the dirt cup, both filters, and belt, then run it and see if the sound is still there. If it is, you need a new motor. If it isn't, you need to look for a clog, or bad roller bearing.

To take the motor out first undo the wiring running down the backside of the unit inside of the switch housing. Then take the four screws out that hold the outer motor housing on, and the rest pops apart. Once you get inside, the gaskets make it a really tight fit, so you might have to hit the motor shaft with a rubber mallet to get it out and use penetrating oil on the bottom gasket to get the new motor to slide back in.

I guess there is no easy explanation. Let me know how it goes.
