Actually, this problem is KeyPad Flex cable - very normal problem with razr - why would you say its battery?

I deal with this problem alot. 9 out of 10 times it's the battery. You can get one very cheaply on the internet. When the battery has out lived it's time, that one of the signs that it's time to get a new one.

Sounds like your PSP is bricked. What this means is that the systemsoftware is corrupted, therefore the PSP is as good as a brick but fear not!

The following website can un-brick the system (reload the system software) onto the PSP for $29!

Need motherboard diagram for the test mode

It sounds like the flash did not finish or hung while trying, I would
think that you just bricked the phone. I have never heard of this
test mode of the board, you normally use the keypad on the phone
to enter it into test mode. If the phone does not post, I have never
heard of a way to get it to reflash.

Maybe someone will come along that knows a way.

My mx6128 is dead

Check and see if your power brick's light is on. The power brick is that black block of plastic on your power cord. If that light is dead then the power brick is bad. That should be your first item to check.

Think I bricked my phone

Your actual flex cable is damaged - this is common on razrs. It may be caused by moisture.
Did you drop it in the snow? or have it in the bathroom durring a shower?

The flex part is about $15-20 + install and shipping, we would be happy to do it for you.

For the computer not recognizing it, that may be the USB connector - is it able to charge?

Hi Azeem123,

Your PSP is Bricked.  You need to send it to Sony to get your problem resolved. The contact information is listed below.

I know this is terrible news for you.  When you were downloading the Flash0, something disturbed the download and corrupted the PSP. This is what Bricked you PSP.  Brick refers to your psp and it is dead until Sony fixes it, no more worth than a brick.

PSP Is Dead! Please Help

if you were upgrading at the time it seems like you may have corrupted the firmware, This is known as Bricking your PSP (as it becomes about as useful as a brick). The only way I know of unbricking is to get hold of a pandora's battery (Battery service mode init and Firmware loaded onto a memstick) see http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=71985 hope this helps
