No sound on 3 keys of the piano.

if it only three keys only you may want to find out is it worth fixing the 3 keys or is it cheaper to buy a new one. the cost of labor, cost for parts need to fix issue, and down the road so a week, month or year it happens again 1-2 keys go out, way the cost verses the new unit plus a warranty to new unit, it is better to buy a new one these days cheaper to buy than repair the cost and parts and labor is so high.

i hope this helps

thank you rod

PS call around instruments store, piano and organ shops, ask if they repair and is it worth repairing they will be honest with you

Ive lost my hotkeys on my keyboard

Sounds like your keyboard driver has either stopped working or has been removed. Keyboards will function as normal without specific drivers but hotkeys etc. wont work. Look at the manufactures web site for keyboard drivers, usually they are pretty good at providing the downloads. without them installed correctly hotkeys will not work. Once installed run the software and check the keys assignments.

There are two samples for each note in the "Piano" sound samples. This allows you to play "soft = p" or "Loud = f" based on how hard you hit the keys.
The default setting of 2 suit most people. You can change the touch response to 3 (more hard) or 1 (less hard). With tough response set to 3 - you play mostly the soft samples until you bang the key much harder.
This is a keyboard that tries to give a bit of effect that an acoustic piano hammer mechanism would give.

Casiotone CT310 electronic organ, need a maual, tried lots of site and have been unsuccessful any suggestions? Regards Marg

I too have checked the net for a manual for your Casio Organ. I checked the Casio website, they offer some of the manuals on their website. However your model was not on their list.

Click here to send a request for the manual from Casio. Send them an e-mail they will be able to either show you where it is for download or they will send a copy to your home via post.

Take care!

One of the speakers is making a static noise when I turn on the organ . Model #CTK-900 . Thanks Heather

It sounds like the organ and the computer's speakers power source is on the same circuit. I would suggest purchasing a outlet strip that has noise reduction/surge protection, and plugging the speakers power source into it.

Sometimes when I type on the keyboard it skips keys that I am striking. I have to strike the key harder to make it register. This only happens sometimes, not all the time.

This is cause by foreign material between the key contacts. Sometimes exercising the key vigorously will fix it, mostimes the keyboard has to be removd and contacts cleaned or keyboard replaced.

The spacebar doesn't work consistantly unless ''pounded''

The spacebar is the most often used switch on your keyboard, so, yes, it's from overuse, but also from
the fact that it is the longest key on your keyboard and the closest to the edge, all of this combining to
make it the dirtiest key on the board.

So, get a keyboard cleaning kit, either professional or DIY which would consist of the following, cotton
swabs, compressed air, and maybe a toothbrush and realize that all the stuff that accumulates under
your keyboard's space key makes it harder to depress to the point where contact is made.
