Re: Reset?!

Go to the top part, there look for the "MODE" key, press it three times until you see " Fix (1) Sci(2) Norm(3)", then choose the third option by pressing 3, and then you'll see "Norm 1 - 2?" and press 2

You can always enter a number in scientific notation. Use the EE or the [x10^X] key to enter the exponent of 10. Whether it will remain in that form depends on the display mode you set the calculator into:SCI, ENG, NORM1, NORM2, FIX.

However if a result is too big or too small, it will always be represented in SCIentific format.

the best option would be to reset your calculator. there is a small panel on the back with a screw. open that up and take out the battery. press the on button to ensure you have drained the power. put the battery back in and it should be reset and working normally

You don't. The calculator can display only ten digits in a number. This number has eleven digits to the left of the decimal point, so the only way the calculator can display the most significant digits is to switch to scientific notation.

Hello

Press the [MODE] key until you reach the display format setup screen, with FIX, SCI and NORM. Under them you have, repectively, 1 2 and 3.

Press the number under the display format you want. If you are presented with 0 tilda 9, you are expected to enter a number between 0 and 9. The number you enter will decide how many decimal digits your results will have.

Hope it helps.
