Dishwasher not emptying following one of the normal cycles. Water sits in the base of the machine. No food or blocks are noted inside the base. The hose appears clear, when lowered water came out, which allowed the water in the dishwasher to drain away - but when machine filled again, and put on normal cycle, water once again sat at the bottom!!!! Please advise of any way to resolve.....!!! Thanks

Will not empty completely. If I jam a sponge under the water level float, it WILL empty completely.

Good Afternoon Paul, thanks for your post!

Based off the information you have provided your Frigidaire dishwasher will not drain out completely. It is not uncommon for there to be some water left inside the bottom of your tub. I would recommend checking you filter to make sure that it is clean. The filter is located under the bottom rack in the center of the tub. Once you have removed that and cleaned it out you may see water less in the bottom of it. I hope this information is helpful to you. -Matt

Water coming back into bosch dishwasher

Check the drain hose that goes into sink cabinet. It should loop up as high as it can go so that water from the sink or disposal doesn't siphon back into dw.

The bottom drawer section is not cleaning satisfactorily

If dishes are coming out dirty, the most likely the filter plate needs cleaning. If you have done that already, then get Finish dishwasher cleaning kit from supermarket and run empty dishwasher with it as instructed on the label of the kit. Also make sure the detergent is not being left behind in the dispenser, the wash arms are clean and you can hear these swishing the water when running.

The dishes do not get clean. Food is left on plates, in bowls, on silverware. Coffee stains are building in cups. Milk leaves a "film" on glasses. When the cycle is finished, it appears that the water...

Hi, it sounds like your dishwasher is plugged up with soap deposits, and/or Calcium deposits.
In an empty dishwasher, put 2 cereal/soup bowls full of vinegar on bottom shelf, and run your dishwasher.
This should clean out all the deposits.
I do this about once every six weeks as our water is very hard.

Water collecting at bottom of dishwasher. screens have been cleaned.

is there water sitting in the bottom of the dishwasher or on the floor? If its sitting in the bottom of the dishwasher, most likely the discharge pump isn't working properly and not emptying all the water out. The pump will usually run for an extended time to pump the water out until it finally times out and you're still left with water in there...

Water left after finishing wash

I have a Bosch Dishwasher and the E-Nr is SGS4362EU/03. The machine is approximately 4 years old, in good condition and has been working very well. Suddenly, there is water remaining after it completes a 50 degrees C wash cycle. This is also evident with the pre wash cycle and the 65 degrees wash cycle.

I have checked and cleaned the filters. I have loosened the internal pump white cover (Torx T 20 screw) and checked for any physical blockage - none. I have also checked for any drainage hose kinks - none.

I have tried a series of empty washes and the machine drains the water during the wash cycles. The dishes are also have a dull colour and show show signs of not being properly rinsed during the wash cycle.

Please assist.

Reagrds,

Brian
