How do i display date/time on my phone? - Avaya 4620SW Corded Phone

Must be bugg in the time set of your phone

• When the keyset is idle, press the TIMER button to start timing.
• Press the TIMER button again to stop timing.
• Read the elapsed time in the display.
• Lift the handset and replace it. The display will return to date and time.

You log into the Phone administrator settings, Go to General, Select Date and Time and correct them for the entire phone system.
To Log Into System Programming:
1. Press FEATURE * * 2 6 6 3 4 4
2. Enter Password: 2 6 6 3 4 4 Display will read: " A. Configuration"
Using the navigation keys, as displayed below, follow the next simple steps:
3. Press: NEXT Display will read: "B. General Admin"
4. Press Show 5. Select Date and Time and Press Show Correct Date and Time then press release. Let me know if you have any other questions.

1) Open Settings Menu
2) Select Initial Settings
3) Select Time and Date
4) if you see the "Auto Update on", press right arrow , it turns to Off.
5) Then select Date and set the appropriate date and format.
6) Press OK
7) Then just press the red button or cancel.

now the cell should display the date..

Same thing happened to me on one of the phones but if you go into display setup you can choose the wallpaper with time and date showing or without. You need to choose the - with time showing on each phone individually.

Walk up to the phone and don't touch anything but the * button. Keep pressing it and watch the display. Now you now the 3 states of the button.

That phone controls putting the system into Night Service. Turn off NS and the time & date will be displayed again.

You should be able to hit the Menu button, then the arrow directly below the TmDay display and then hit exit once the date and time are displayed. The date should disappear but the time should stay.

Go to your phone's "Time & date" settings and select "show", u might have your date and time hidden this time. And more thing, set the time and date first, some phones displays time and date automatically after setting...unless the user choosed to hide it...good luck! i hope this solution solved your problem.......

I have the same problem. I cannot believe I wasted $70 this stupid phone. No more RCA ever.

The display on the phone ... to change back and forth between the date and time, and the extension information, press the "star" (or asterisk) key while the phone is on-hook, this will toggle the display back and forth.
