There seems to be an issue with the Harmony 880/890 where, after a time, certain buttons that are used more often become unresponsive (though 4 years is not a bad run!) They either need to be pressed very firmly (and sometimes held down for a few seconds), or they stop working entirely. This is probably due to the wearing out of the metallic bubble button that is beneath the film adhesive of the circuit board. If this has happened, the repair can be tricky. In most cases if only one or two buttons are the problem, you may want to try the 're-mapping' strategy as described below. Remember, the beauty of this remote is that you can create 'soft' keys using the LCD screen and re-map almost any key you like. If you call Logitech, they may give you a discount on a new remote. They did for me when this happenned and I was out of warranty!
