Look at the power supply first; look for burnt parts, bad capacitors, etc. Look for 5vdc, 12vdc, and 24dvc.

Samsung TV won't turn on. Red light is solid, won't blink when pressed. All capacitors seem fine (none swollen or vented).

That model is covered under a class actions lawsuit settlement over bad power supply boards. You need to contact Samsung about this and get a warranty claim started, even if the original warranty is over the settlement terms will cover parts and labor. You can get additional information about this along with contact information here: http://www.ccl-la.com/blog/index.php/samsung-has-reached-a-settlement-in-class-action-lawsuit-over-faulty-tv-power-supplies/

I just got a used LN32A330J1D the red light is on but it will not power up what can i do

Hello,

That series of Samsung TV is covered by a class action lawsuit settlement over bad capacitors on the power supply board that were installed in those units. Under the terms of the settlement Samsung will repair any power supply even if the unit is out of standard warranty. You can get more details on the settlement here:

This should help you get it repaired and going again.

Samsung LN26A450 screen won't work

Your model Samsung falls under a class actions settlement. These units have defective power supply boards and Samsung has agreed to pay for the repair / replacement of the boards at no cost to the user even if the unit is out of standard warranty. This sounds like the issue with your TV. Here is a link with additional information about the settlement and how to get the warranty work completed.

My sansui hdlcd1909 19 in. lcd tv won't turn on. the standby red light blinks once, what can i do to turn it on?

sounds like bad capacitors on the power board. Very common problem. I would look at the caps if any appear even slightly rounded on top they are bad. They should be perfectly flat on top any puffing up means replace that cap.

My samsung lcd tv model number LN32A330J1D won't turn on. the power light comes on but nothing else happens. what do I do?

The power supply for the lcd tv can have problems that don't put proper voltage to the control board. Some can be fixed others have to be replaced. a good multimeter can be used to probe for voltage . also if the backlight is burned out you can still see a very fait picture by shinning a light on the screen.

My samsung model ln32a330j1d tv will not turn on. The red standby light is on but it will not turn on.

I have the same TV and just fixed it in a couple mins. The problem is capacitor # CM861 on your power supply board. It is a 10v, 2200uF capacitor. You can tell it is bad because the top is rounded not flat like the others.
