Question about Internet MICROSOFT KEYBOARD, BROWN BOX PS2 (MCSMSKBINTERNET)
The printer worked fine on the Internet with AOL. Then I switch to Comcast and it has not worked from the Internet since. You can print from any other application. When you try to print from the Internet all you get is page after page of waht I believe the computer instructions to print. The length of the document varies but it has been 60 pages. I tried reloading the drivers, downloading updates, and also tried to find any firewall restrictions. Please help.
I own a hp office jet 4200 series all in one.
My problem: When I scan or copy a photo or a document I get a copy with vertical lines on the left, center and right sides of the ducument or photo. What should I do?Please hep!
Thanks for your help..

I solved the problem. All I had to do was set the web browser as my default and it worked, pretty simple if you know what to do .

In sequence try the following. First run scandisk. You may have a linked file. If that solves the problem great. If not delete comcast and delete your printer (I suggest both as it saves time although I recognize it's probably not your printer). Then reinstall comcast and next reinstall the printer. If you are running anything later than Windows ME this should fix the problem. You may also want to check the comcast website for known problems. I believe most of the DSL and cable providers require XP (although I have used everything from Win98SE up with no problems almost).
