Question about Quantum 13Gb FIREBALL CX 3.5" IDE HD p/n CX13A011 13 GB Hard Drive
What are the specs for this hard drive to be put in the bios for user instead of auto?
The specifications to enter the information manually, are on top of the harddrive. Kind of hard to discern, huh? That's because harddrive sizes from 6.4GB through 20.4GB are listed on top.
C/H/S = Cylinders/Heads/Sectors
The Quantum Fireball CX10A011 hardrive is a 10.2GB harddrive.
You will see -> C/H/S....10.2 - 16383/16/63 on top.
That is ,
As for the 40GB model, it should be similar. If not, come back and post.

Normally it says on the sticker ontop of the hard drive.
