IPod Shuffle problem

My husband and I both have iPod Shuffles and we both have the same problem. in the Itunes library, our songs play fine and all the way through, but on our Shuffles the songs skip around in the middle of the song, like there are only fragments of the songs on the Ipod. The songs sometimes restart a few seconds into the song, or will only play half of a song and skip to another one. What do we need to do to fix this? Thanks!

Though I do not have a ipod shuffle, it sounds like you set it to run on "sample" which is a setting to play only a few seconds of the song then stop, are you using any other program besides itunes?

Trying to load ipod shuffle

Do you have iTunes installed?? you have to rip the CD to iTunes and then you can sync them to your iPod shuffle. You can get instructions via the manual. iPod Shuffle Manual.
If you want to put music into the iTunes library that you already have on your PC, just go to 'File', then 'Add folder to library' and it will scan that folder and every sub-folder and put the music in the library. Be careful if your songs don't have ID3 tags otherwise iTunes won't be able to work out what they are and your songs will not be catagorized well at all.

IPOD Shuffle deletes songs if I delete them from the music library in Itunes

You have to keep all the songs that you want on your iPod on your computer, otherwise you will get this problem. So if you want song "a" on your iPod it must also be in your iTunes library at all times unless you don't want it on your iPod anymore

How to delete music off of the ipod shuffle?

You can either do a restore:
Connect to your computer and open itunes.
When you first open itunes you should be in "Devices"
Make sure you're in the "Summary" tab and you will have a button that says "Restore"
Click that and it will do the rest.

Sync with an itunes library that has no files on it, this will also remove the files from your ipod.
