Whatever you get make sure that you have a serial port on the laptop. You will find a need for it with many routers. I use a sony vaio dv8000 but it's 1+ year old and isn't made anymore. I don't recommend Dell laptops, tend to flake out

How due you wire around control module in a 92 GMC Sonoma 4.3 vin z

Im not sure what you are trying to do but, if you wanted to order a computer fuel injection kit for it. It would suppy a new harness, computer. Or you could really go old school and go carburated and order a carb and manifold. Either way, still is lots of rewiring invovled. You could order a new harness for your vehicle or get someone who specializes in fine tuning and good diagnostic work. Whenever someone says I think it could be this, instead of explaining and showing don't trust the thinker. A prover is the best mechanic.

Cooling fan is acting strange car is heating some when idling how can I trouble shoot or fix

It is normal for a temperature gauge to fluctuate when the car idles, you will notice 20 to 50 degrees bounce. As long as it is not going into the red or blowing steam don't worry about it.

My 1999 Sunfire has been stalling and not able to run!!

could be many things engine overheating due to waterpump getting bad, could have intake manifold leak, faulty idle air control valve or faulty ignition module or CKP sensor.check see if you have fuel pressure when engine stop, fuel filter could be stopped up or fuel pump going bad, pcm could be failing best bet take car to a garage have it diagnostic checked.because you will spend more money guessing buy lot of new parts you dont need.take car to shop where mechanic has diagnostic equipment some mechanics can fix cars by ear, thats old school mechanics, the new generation vechicles has more complex and has lots of electronic parts, you need special diagnostic scanner to trouble shoot them.

97 Cadillac Deville interior lights, headlamps, and cig lighter all out

Hello Danny Nichola,

I would STRONGLY RECOMMEND shooting out ALL the EXISTING TROUBLES ... before taking engineered circuits
into complex new situations... never considered during
initial design.

My BEST ADVICE: Put all the lights BACK
as originally DESIGNED/SPECIFIED.

Compounding EXISTING troubles... with
undefined circumstances ... can only make ultimate trouble resolution more complex and problematic.

FREE circuit drawings are at BBB Industries website
(registration required... these are real GM documents)...

Look over the schematics... fix all you troubles with
real lamps (per original design SPECIFICATIONS...

MAKE SURE EVERYTHING is working perfectly..

Then & only then
re-design the CIRCIUTS with "modern" lights
(once you have your own engineering degree)...

The engine block indicator is on when engine running and only 2 sparks firing. loss of power.

the engine block indicator might be the computer check engine lamp. go to the local parts supply store that offer to plug into the computer to extract engine trouble codes. wright down all trouble codes. the trouble codes is only a guide for further trouble shooting.
