I have an ACER Aspire 5100. The built in camera has stopped working. It seems to be a software problem. The camera still works when in the demo mode.

My acer laptop (series 5100) webcam has also stopped working, but it works though msn windows messenger. It seems to be a software problem, I have had this problem ever since i brought it. I hope it can be fixed...

SERIOUSLY THE SOLUTION TO THIS IS VERY SIMPLE ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS GO TO MY DOCUMENTS, PICTURE (CREATE A NEW FOLDER IN MYDOCUMNTS AND INSER ALL YOUR PICTURE IN YOU NEW FOLD *** DONOT NAME IT THE SAME NAME IT SOMETHING ELSE INSERT ALL YOU PICTURES IN YOU NEW FOLDER AND PRESS F5 TO REFRESH CLOSE MYDOCUMENTS AND CLICK ON YOUR ORBICAM PROGRAM TRUST ME IT SHOULD WORK

Try to re-installed the camera application. If this is not working, try to reload the OS using disk or Alt+F10

orbit cam stopped working. works fine in the demo mode. I have two Acers and they both have the same problem. They are 8 months old. Help!

my camera stopped working 2 weeks after i got my 5100 aspire tryed everything to get it working, and wont play dvds just kp jump but the sound ok
