6MTH OLD HOTPOINT PLASMA TV SUDDENLY HAS NO PICTURE NO SOUND

Different TV, but most likely same problem and, in fact, quite possibly literally the same boards, so maybe practically the same TV.
Can't be sure since you haven't posted the model of your Viore.

If you have specific questions, please always include the model number in the question...the model is on a sticker at the back of the TV, right after or below the words "MODEL:" :-)

The power supply feed deferent voltages to the TV and the Problem is the electrolytic caps need change out on the power supply module, or you can go to www.partstor.com and get a new one.

the sound suddenly stopped working on my Viore 42" plasma.

That happened to my new plasma TV 30 days after i bought it and the TV repair guy came an fixed it and i saw what he did and he told me that there are 3 circuit boards in back of TV and each one controls their areas, center circuit board was controlling the center screen of my TV which was where the lines were so he replaced it and the lines were gone. this board are usually on the bottom part of the TV and they look alike but they are not due to the connection location., i hoe this help

The TV has a color wheel / Light Engine problem.Light engines cost between $800 and $1500. Cheaper to buy a new TV. Get the extended Warranty. It will pay for itself.

did you ever get it resolve? I am having the same problem. my tv is a year and and 1 week old. I am so upset.

Sounds like it's on the wrong input, maybe it's analog tuner. Have you tried changing it's input?
