I can't seem to remotely connect and view my lorex cameras. What am i doing wrong...it was working fine till I got Verizon FIOS

You may need to reopen the ports necessary for the Lorex to be available for remote viewing. You should be able to look at the function on the Lorex menu to get the port numbers, then call Verizon to have them forward the ports. Without port forwarding, your video stream is being blocked at the Verizon FIOS Modem.

Pls how can i flash my nokia N95

No matter what network your Nokia N95 phone currently runs on, you can unlock it---or "flash" it---to run on any GSM network. You will only be able to use your unlocked Nokia N95 phone on networks that use SIM cards---such as T-Mobile and AT&T---and not on CDMA networks such as Sprint and Verizon, which do not provide SIM cards.

Unlocking the Handset
1
Remove the back cover and the battery from your cell phone. Locate a silver sticker with a bar code on it. Take note of the 15-digit IMEI number printed on it. At this time, also remove the SIM card and write down the numbers printed on the back of it. The SIM card is the small, white data chip in the silver cradle right next to the sticker. You will need these numbers to obtain your Nokia unlock code.
2
Request a Nokia N95 unlock code from your service provider. If they cannot provide you with an unlock code, you can buy one online.
3
Replace the SIM card, battery and cover. Fully charge your handset.
4
Turn on your handset and type "#PW+".
5
Enter the unlock code given from your phone company or website. Make sure you dial the number exactly as it was given to you. If you dial this number incorrectly three times, you will be permanently locked out of your handset.
6
Dial "+1#". At this point, the screen on your Nokia N95 should read "SIM Restriction Off."

Inserting SIM Card
1
Switch your handset off and remove the back cover and battery.
2
Remove the SIM card.
3
Insert the new SIM card into the SIM card slot. Now that the phone has been unlocked, this can be a SIM card from any U.S. service provider that uses SIM cards.
4
Replace the back cover and battery and switch the cell phone on. The screen should now read the name of the new service provider

How do I open ports 500, 4500, 53, and 52428 on Dell TrueMobile 2300 wireless router. Need to open them for Verizon Network Extender

1.Open the router interface by checking the default gateway
2.Under FIREWALL, you can find an option that would say "Virtual Servers"
3.Enable these ports, along with their types(TCP/UDP/Both) and assign an IP address that your Verizon Network Extender is going get( you to set that manually on the verizon device)
Save the changes and the ports will get forwarded!
**Note: In this case, DMZ under FIREWALL will NOT work!

I want format my nokia N95 handphone. can u help me

Here are a couple of codes to soft/hard reset/format a Nokia N95 mobile device:

Soft reset code *#7370#
Hard reset code *#7780#

If the hard format code mentioned aboive does not work, try the following manual method to hard reset/format Nokia N95:

  • Turn off the mobile device.
  • Press and Hold the following three buttons: the Green Call Answer button, the * button, and the number 3 button.
  • While holding these buttons, turn on the phone and keep holding the keys untill the mobile phone restarts and prompts you to enter details.

Note: All the data will be lost including Phone Contacts, Apps,Games....SO DO BACKUP ALL BEFORE FORMATTING.

If I was helpful, Kindly do Rate!

Water damaged n95

try this :
This works on most mini electronic devices like cellular phones and degital cameras etc .

it sounds crazy .

Remove the back (or Cover ) of the phone( or Camera ), battery, and SIM if your phone ( or Device ) uses one , DIRECTLY
.

Then, with a q-tip (or something similar), dab the connection points (shiny, goldish) on the battery, SIM, and phone. This should aid in drying.

Finally, place all contents in a bag of uncooked rice (separately, do not put back together just yet). it sounds crazy , but it draws the moisture out.

It normally is working after just 7-8 hours, but I would wait 12 hours or even 24 hours before attempting to use (just to be sure).

beware the water damage, despite being dry now, will void any warranties. Also, the phone's hardware is now weakened and if you drop it, the green mother board and circuitry could shatter - so be more careful.

This does work on electronic devices aside from phones as well. Simply tailor it to your device. If you do not have a SIM (Verizon phones, cameras, all others), remove only the battery. If you have an iPhone/iPod or GPS and cannot remove the battery, simply make sure it is all the way off, then put it in the rice bag. All electronic devices react the same to the rice trick.
