I have a problem with my dryer, it is leaking water from it, was wondering where it might be coming from, any suggestions? I just dried a load of clothes and notice some water leaking from under the dryer. Need help in finding out where it is coming from.

All the dryer does is move air,if the steam can't move to the outside from a blockage of some sort your gonna find water droplets building up on and around the dryer, you need to clean out the dryer and this should be done every year so you don't have a fire also more so if it's gas with an open flame in the dryer,if you have a long vent line run from the wall to the outside use a leaf blower to clean out the line, first run the dryer and check outside to see if the flapper is blowing fully open,if there is a cage on the hood, throw it away, all it does is collect lint,if you want to keep it go out and clean it every month,if it's low to the ground this is used so no animals can crawl into the line, now unplug the dryer, take off the front panel and vac out the inside, then clean the duct that the lint filter slides into,ge drums ride on a rear bearing and the heater is on the back wall behind the drum,if you look inside you'll see holes in the back wall of drum,if you have a shop vac put it on blow and blow out the holes in the back of drum, alot of lint collects in there, hope this helps, you definetly have a block somewhere and the is is being restricted

Water coming out of the back of the dryer

When a dryer usually produces visable water from any part of it's self, the suggestion would be a completely restricted vent line. Such restrictions could be from nests from animals, excess lint, a dip in the vent hose causing lint and water to collect. Since the dryer is leaking water, it is heating and therefore creting steam in an effort to dry the cloths, with a clogged vent the steam has no where to escape to and thus condenses within the dryer and leaks out. The vent needs to be checked by a wualified vent servicing company from the back of the dryer to the point of exit of the home. Pleazer Appliance...

Water under and around dryer. Clothes dry but water on floor. The wash not leaking. I the vent and line are not clogged. What is causing the water under dry?

Unless the clothes are dripping, soaking, wet when they're put in the dryer (and it would take them a loooong time to dry if that were the case) there's bound to be a leak of some kind coming from somewhere other than the dryer. Do you have a lavatory or toilet on the other side of the wall behind the dryer? They dryer has no water of its own to leak.

I have water leaking in from above thru the electronic console, wondering if it might be coming from the roof racks? I also have water coming in on the drivers side floor and can't find the leak, any...

More likely is a leak at the windshield seal at the top of the windshield. The water on the floor could also be coming from around the windshield, water leaks travel anywhere they find a path. On a dry day, take a garden hose and with very little water flow, apply the water to the top of the windshield for a while. Check for water on the floor. The water that's getting into your electronic console is probably happening at speed.

Water under dryer after use. cleaned exhaust lint in it was wet. should i insulate exhaust tubing. [email protected]

Hi

Dryer would be either leaking from vent or due to condensation. The vent may either be blocked. The water is coming from the clothes you have dried in the dryer and it has no where to go.
You need to dismantle the vent and clean it, replace it with new vent. The dryer may now be consuming more time to dry the same load of clothes. By correcting the venting problem you will solve the water problem and shorten your wash day and save on electricity as well.

Another issue is condensation which usually appears on the dryer vent pipe colder climates. As the warm air from the dryer is vented to the outside, it must be protected from the cold temperatures outside. If your dryer vent pipe is not properly insulated, the air that is being vented out will turn into water when it comes into contact with the cold pipe outside. This results in condensation and dripping water. To resolve this, you must insulate your dryer vent pipe along its entire length. This will ensure that the hot air from the dryer does not undergo temperature fluctuations, and no water will leak into the vent pipe. Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more information.

Water comes out bottom when I run multiple loads

pull the dryer and check your venting you can remove the vent and run a load to see if it works ok i know the hot air will come into the room but it is just a test to see if the vent is clogged this is where the condensation would come from chweck that and let me know

Clothes Hot but damp, water out of vent

Is this a combo washer/dryer in 1 unit? water shoud not come out if it is just a dryer. Your air coming out of the back vent hose should be hot. If your clothes comes out of your WASHER damp (more than normal) then your washer is not spin drying good enough. (worn belt, clogged drainage system).

CONDENSER DRYER IS LEAKING WATER

make sure it is pushed all the way in but it could be something simple like when it was moved water has splashed out into the inside of your dryer which will make it look like it is leaking had same problems like that with other customers dryers leave it to run and more than likely that it will dry itself out
