Ok you must be using a a/v cable at your house? And the hdmi cable at your brother in laws? If this is the problem its not the xbox hdmi cable. It doesnt matter all hdmi cables work the same. Its your settings. You need to hold you power button down and it should come on and beep twice then release it and a settings menu should pop up if it doesnt hold the power button down until it comes on and shuts off then hold the power button down again until it beeps twice. Always premix fuel and a modern synthetic saw oil in a separate can before use. Never run a 2-stroke saw engine without mixed fuel. Motorcycles use an oil injection pump that allows the burning of straight gasoline, but no one has come up with similar system for saws. Use 40:1 ratio fuel to oil. Hope this helps!

The battery is dead and needs to be replaced. (It may have some power but not enough to boot the system.)

oil all moving parts and try turning handwheel by hand to work oil in. it really needs a service by a technician

I must assume that the card you are talking about is not a Sony brand memory card. Sony Playstations are very picky with memory cards and can cause strange malfunctions even permanent damage if they are not Sony brand or Sony approved memory cards. Sorry that doesn't fix it, but my brother lost his by using a non Sony memory card. It fried the machine.

use your own cords but it is broken inside your tv. the ps3 is not the problem its not the cords it is simply the tv were u insert the cord. something may have yanked it out fast and disconnected it. my solution would be to connect it to the back of a dvd player and then put the tv on video mode that is how i play at my dads but at my moms it works fine on some tvs but not on one because my puppy pulled out the cord to hard.

2. IF THE LASER CLEANING DON'T WORK ON YOUR PS2 SYSTEM PERFORMANCE THEN TRY ADJUSTING THE LASER VOTAGE.

3. IF THE LASER VOTAGE DON'T WORK YOU NEED TO REPLACE THE LASER

I had the same problem with a pinball game I brought. If you have one of the old playstation 2's and these games you have a blue-back on them I noticed after so long they stop playing games with blue-back discs. All other games with out these blue-back discs will play just fine but if you have a new playstation 2 and these games are not playing on there then u need to call playstation and tell them the problem you are having and see what they tell you.
